75 Squadron was formed in March 1942, when Australia had not one fighter squadron in the entire continent. Until 1945, 75 Squadron flew in the New Guinea and Borneo campaigns, and after the war, operated Mustangs. When jets arrived, the Squadron reequipped with Vampires, Meteors, Avon Sabres and Mirages until moving on to the F/A-18 Hornet. Includes roll of honour, Commanding Officers and roll of the original members of the Squadron.
